Overview of the Sony RX1R Integration
The Sony RX1R is the middle ground payload, offering light weight and a full-frame, high resolution sensor, but relatively limited flexibility. The RX1R has a fixed, non-removable 35mm lens and 42.4-megapixel sensor. For mapping and survey missions, it is recommended to use aperture priority or manual photo modes, and configure camera settings prior to starting a mission. For inspection or general aerial photography, where motion blur is less relevant, auto mode may be preferred.
The RX1R lacks WiFi and IR LED control capability via Air Commander, but can still be remotely triggered.
