Battery Health
The IB388 batteries are compatible with NFC Tools by WAKDEV, available on the Apple Store. You can download this free app to monitor the Status of Health (SoH) of the smart batteries.
To utilize the NFC Tools app, follow these steps:

2 | Open the NFC Tools app and select the "Read" button. |
Apple device users: You will need to click the settings icon on the App (top left, gear icon) and change from "Normal" to "Compatibility".
3 | When the App shows “Ready to Scan” and indicates for you to “Approach an NFC Tag” position your on top of the charging port of the IB388 battery. |
4 | The app will now retrieve the battery data from the IB388 battery. |
5 | Select the “Record 1 - Text” button to view the battery status. |
6 | Verify that the "s-health" field is above 80%. |
NOTE: If the s-health field is below 80% the battery should not be used. See Section, Battery Disposal.
